For over 50 years, Hyundai has made affordable and practical cars for everyday drivers. The company also produces vehicles better suited to race day than the open road. In fact, for the 2025 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge (IMPC) season, there will be several Hyundai Elantra N TCR entries. If you’re a racing fan, Keyes Hyundai has the details.

Veterans and Up-and-Comers

The IMPC season is exciting for Hyundai and fans alike, as they see a mix of drivers ranging from seasoned veterans to promising newcomers. These include Mason Filippi and Mark Wilkins, the runners-up in last year’s IMPC Drivers’ Championship. Maddie Aust – with extensive SRO racing experience – has also been added to the lineup, as has 2024 Radical North America Champion Suellio Almeida.

A Family Affair

One of the most interesting storylines for Hyundai this season concerns Larry and Riley Pegram, who are father and daughter. They will debut under the Pegram Racing banner and pilot the No. 72 Hyundai Elantra N TCR. Larry brings his years of motorcycling racing experience to Hyundai racing, and Riley is a passionate emerging driver.

Supporting a Good Cause

In addition to the excitement of the races, Hyundai is using its involvement to support Hope on Wheels, which raises money for research in the fight against pediatric cancer. Hyundai is donating $100 for every lap one of its vehicles leads during every race this season.

Test-Drive Your Own Hyundai Elantra N

While you may never be in an IMSA race, there is a way to do the next-best thing. You can get behind the wheel of the Hyundai Elantra N to get a taste of what racecar drivers experience. Come down to Keyes Hyundai for a test drive.
