Hyundai Nexo FCV
The Hyundai Nexo is powered by an electric motor, 40-kWh battery pack, and 95-kW fuel-cell stack for 161 net horsepower. US-spec models are not tow-rated, but it’s worth noting that the roof racks can hold up to 220 pounds, giving you some extra storage space when needed.
Hyundai IONIQ 6
The Hyundai IONIQ 6 has two different battery and motor combinations paired with a single-speed transmission. Although it offers up to 320 horsepower, this electric sedan is not tow-rated in North America.
Hyundai IONIQ 5
The Hyundai IONIQ 5 has a 58-kWh battery pack and 125-kW electric motor that combine to produce 168 horsepower. Two other powertrains are available, with the most powerful consisting of a 77.4-kWh battery pack and two electric motors that put out 320 horsepower. A one-speed automatic transmission is standard. Rear-wheel drive is also standard, but all-wheel drive is available. Aside from the SEL Standard Range trim, which is not tow-rated, this car can tow up to 2,300 pounds.
Hyundai Kona EV
The Hyundai Kona EV has a 150-kW electric motor and a 64-kWh lithium-ion battery that offer 201 horsepower. A single-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive are standard. This electric Hyundai SUV isn’t tow-rated, but it offers 19.2 to 45.8 cubic feet of cargo volume, so there’s still plenty of room for your stuff.
