It won’t be long before the 2023 Hyundai IONIQ 6 hits the market. If you’re interested in this electric sedan, here’s what we know about it so far.
Power and Performance
The base Hyundai IONIQ 6 has a single rear-mounted electric motor that produces 225 horsepower. There’s another option with two motors – one in the front and one in the back – that combine to put out 320 horsepower. In addition to great agility, the Hyundai IONIQ 6 offers a very smooth ride. Plus, it allows drivers to select different modes of regenerative braking.
Driving Range
The Hyundai IONIQ 6 has an impressive driving range, and the SE Long Range will let you go up to 361 miles on a single charge. If you opt for the all-wheel drive model, you can travel up to 270 miles.
Interior Design
Up to five people will comfortably fit in the Hyundai IONIQ 6, and the cabin is spacious. It’s also hushed, as Hyundai has added numerous layers of sound-deadening material between the floor and carpeting.
Tech and Safety Features
The Hyundai IONIQ 6 has a digital gauge cluster and infotainment system touchscreen, each measuring 12.3 inches. Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ are standard. As for safety, every model will have automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, and lane-keep assist.
